Title: Video Relay Services ASL/English Interpreter

Location: New York, NY

American VRS is seeking a top professional to interpret sign language through video in a call center that provides relay service services to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing customers.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Adhere to Call Center policies and procedures
- Demonstrate full compliance with americanVRS attendance policy
- Contribute to customer service and performance standards by providing top notch team work
- Complete required paperwork and data entry in a timely fashion
- Exhibit professional and ethical behavior at all times
- Support colleagues with collaborative team interpreting
- Contribute to a supportive work environment with positive and creative participation
- Operate a computer and video equipment
- Work effectively with minimal supervision
- Other duties as assigned

Qualification Requirements:
Interpreters must posses fluent American Sign Language and English Language skills with minimum two years experience, accurate interpreting skills, and thorough knowledge of and adherence to the RID Code of Professional Conduct.
